So…I finally broke down and bought an iPad last Friday. I waited til the 3G launch because a i originally wanted one, but after much thought, I decided that a WiFi will do everything I need it to.

Although I have been playing with one at work the whole time they have been out, it is much different when you have one of your own. My first impression was simply, wow! It is thin, has a great speaker and is fast. I guess fast might be an understatement. All of the Apple apps scream! The battey lasts FOREVER. I am very amazed.

The 3rd party apps are great as well. Some of the games have blown me away!

Tomorrow will be my first day taking it to school. I will not be bringing my MacBook Pro, only the iPad. I will be putting the keyboard th through it’s paces…should be interesting, but i have confidence.

After a good solid week or so, I will have a better idea of how good of a notebook replacement it actually is. Wish me luck!!
